The Mazda MX-5 models are still running on the same 1.5- and 2.0-litre engines that we have seen in the last year lineup. But the upgrades done under the hood resulted in the boost of horsepower that has increased to 182 bhp in the 2.0 liter engine variant. This extra 24 bhp, also helped it count 1 second lesser in accelerating from 0 to 60 mph and the current count is 6.5 seconds. It has also cast a positive effect in its revving that has increased as well and by 700 rpm, which is finally 7,500 rpm.
