The Hero Xpluse 200 4V made a name for itself in the market when it was launched in October 2021. It proved to be a purchase-worthy bike in its segment, leaving behind many other competitor bike models. But now, Hero has recently introduced the Hero Xpulse 200 4V 2023 edition.

Excited to find out what lies beneath the hood of this upgraded version? Then, let’s dive into the details and see how the new model compares to the previous one.

Updates to Design Features

  1. Visor – The visor on the Xpulse 200 4V 2023 edition is 60 mm taller than the one on the previous model. It is a Rally-styled windshield that will offer better windblast protection.
  2. LED Headlamp – The 2023 model features a new Class-D LED headlamp composed of H-shaped LED DRLs. Hero MotoCorp claims that this new setup will result in an increase of 230% in light intensity over the 2021 Xpulse 200 4V.
  3. Updated Rider Triangle – Hero has lowered the rider foot peg on the 2023 version by 35 mm and 8 mm for the rear pegs. This is done to offer the riders more control for the standing riding stance and to increase the leg-holding area while reducing the load on the riders’ wrists.

Other changes include closed-loop type handguards and an updated luggage plate.

More to Technology

The instrument cluster for the Hero Xpulse 200 4V 2023 has also been upgraded. It now features a real-time fuel economy indicator along with multiple ABS modes as well, viz. Road, Off-road and Rally.

The bike is also OBD-II compliant now and can run on E20 fuel too. A new onboard diagnostic device has also been installed to monitor the catalytic converter’s performance. It detects faults in the system and sends notifications using a malfunction indicator light (MIL).

Price Comparison

When it comes to the Xpulse 4V price, the additional features justify the price. Moreover, the model now comes in two variants – Standard and Pro.

The Standard version will cost Rs. 1.44 lakhs (ex-showroom), while the Pro version will cost Rs. 1.52 lakhs (ex-showroom) for New Delhi.

The Pro variant of the Hero Xpulse 200 4V 2023 edition features increased ground clearance, a handlebar riser for a better off-road experience, a fully-adjustable front suspension with 250 mm travel and a 10-step adjustable rear suspension system with 220 mm travel.

The New Model is Actually a Big Upgrade

While not many second versions prove to be an improvement over the original, the Hero Xpulse 200 4V improves over its predecessor by a lot. Whether it’s the design, the technology or other miscellaneous features added to enhance the riding experience, the engineers have done a great job.

So, if you’re looking for an adventurous ride, definitely go for the Hero Xpulse 200 4V 2023 edition. Choose from the Standard and Pro variants depending on your requirements
